The Deliverable
An operating blueprint.
This is what you get.
An operating blueprint is one map of how a business actually runs. This page is that deliverable, filled in with our own company as the worked example, so you can see the exact format before you commission one for yours.

One map of how the business actually runs.
Your business already holds this information. It just lives in different people's heads, in a folder nobody opens, and across a dozen tools that do not talk to each other. An operating blueprint puts it in one place: every customer-facing asset, every internal system, every handoff between them, and who owns each one.
What you receive
Eight artifacts. One document.
Every blueprint we deliver contains these eight parts. Each one below is shown filled in with our own business, so nothing here is a mockup.
Artifact 01 · Business overview
The business at a glance.
What the company sells, to whom, and the handful of numbers that decide whether it is working. In your blueprint this is your business, your market and your figures.
Artifact 02 · System inventory
Every system, grouped by the layer it lives in.
Degen Mode™ organizes a business into four layers: LOOK · COMMUNICATE · WORK · RUN SMARTER. Each layer holds the systems that live there. Click any system for what it is and what it replaces.
Artifact 03 · Business flows
One lead, start to finish, with the drop points marked.
That's one example. We build similar systems around estimates, customer service, content, reporting, project workflows and internal operations. The technology changes. The objective doesn't: fewer dropped balls, less manual work and a better customer experience.
Artifact 04 · Ownership map
Every function, and who answers for it.
Not an org chart of names. A map of functions: what each one owns, what it hands to the next, and where one person is currently carrying two jobs. That last column is usually the most useful page in the document.
Artifact 05 · System architecture
What is actually running, and what talks to what.
We work in the stack you already have. If you run something we haven't seen, we assess the fit before recommending a change.
Artifact 06 · Execution libraries
The parts the daily work runs on.
Delivered as working files in your own tools, not as a PDF appendix. If a template already exists and works, it stays.
Artifact 07 · Decision log
Every call we made, and what would reverse it.
A blueprint that only shows conclusions is hard to argue with and easy to ignore. Each decision is recorded with its reasoning and the condition that would change it, so the document stays useful after we leave.
Artifact 08 · Rebuild sequence
What gets fixed first, and why that order.
A blueprint is only useful if it gets built. Every Degen engagement moves through the same four stages, whatever the size.
Diagnose → Architect → Build → Enable
Depth
How deep the blueprint goes.
Every engagement produces the same eight artifacts. The mode decides how far each one is taken, and how much of it we then build for you.
Next Step
Tell us what's not working.
Every engagement starts with the problem, not the tool. Bring us the bottleneck and we'll map the fix.
